The History of Art and Architecture department invited James Fishburne, director of Forest Lawn Museum, to present his findings on how Pope Julius II utilized coins and portrait medals as a means of crafting political narratives about the role of the papacy. The lecture was part of their “Gods, Glory & Spirituality” lecture series.
