Author and Martin Luther King, Jr., Centennial Professor at Stanford Unversity, Lerone A. Martin, visited UCSB to discuss his book The Gospel of J. Edgar Hoover, which uncovers former F.B.I. Director J. Edgar Hoover’s relationship with white Evangelicals and Catholics and their goal of uplifting a white Christian America.
