UC Santa Cruz professor Gregory O’Malley, author of Final Passages: The Intercolonial Slave Trade of British America, 1619-1807, will give a talk titled “Mapping the Slave Trade.” His lecture is part of a series of UCSB talks and workshops called Commodities in Motion: Global, Local, Engendered and Enslaved, sponsored by the Center for the Study of Work, Labor, and Democracy; and the Policy History Program.
The talk will be held on January 18th from 1-3pm in HSSB room 4041.
